Our mission is to serve our community by providing assistance to those in need with compassion, respect, and dignity. We offer canned goods, cereals, pasta, meats, breads, milk, and other assorted food items, as well as some personal care items, paper products, and cleaning supplies. The Pantry also offers fresh fruits and vegetables when they're available.
If you have questions about Project Love, or if you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please contact us at 219-374-7312 or by e-mail at email@example.com.
As you may know, our current location is a 2-bedroom house constructed over 60 years ago, and was never intended to accommodate the type of traffic and use we experience so the plan is to demolish the old structure and build a new facility in its place.
In addition to the space needed for the pantry, the new building will contain an Opportunity Center to help offer guidelines for food planning and cooking.
We plan to move the food pantry operations into a temporary location at 13135 Morse Street in Cedar Lake after the 4th of July holiday and begin serving our clients at that location on Wednesday, July 13th. We will continue to serve our clients while construction is underway.

In the meantime, the proposed facility is estimated to cost approximately $250,000. If you would like to help, you can purchase a brick that will be permanently engraved with your name, your company's name, and other optional information. Click the photo of the brick on the right for purchase information.
